President – IEVA PETRUSKEVICIUS
Hej everyone! I’m Ieva, your ScanSoc President! I’m originally from Denmark, and am now in my final year of Law at Christ’s College. I can’t wait to meet new and old ScanSoc members, and look forward to all the incredible events we have in store for the coming year - from Sittnings, to Swaps, to speaker events, to our ABBA bop, and Midsummer!
Lots of Scandi-love,
Ieva

Vice President – AMANDA LARSFALTEN
Hej! My name is Amanda and I’m this year’s ScanSoc Vice-President! Although originally Swedish, I spent most of my life in Switzerland (but hopefully you’ll forgive me for that), and am now about to start my final year as an Economics student at Homerton college. I’m so excited for another year of amazing Scandi events and to see old and new faces again at our next event! :)
Lots of Scandi-love,
Amanda

Treasurer – Anders vase hinge
Hej! My name is Anders, I’m a third year HSPS student @ Christ’s and this year’s ScanSoc treasurer, so I’ll be doing my best to make sure the finances of the society are in order. I was part of the committee last year and enjoyed it so much I thought I’d do it again.
Lots of Scandi-love,
Anders

secretary – STINE BENTZEN
Heisann! I am Stine, the ScanSoc communications officer for this year (as well). I am part Swiss, part Norwegian and grew up in Oslo. I am a soon to be third year Land Economy- student. If I am not studying that or frantically writing ScanSoc emails, I can always hope to be stereotypically cross-country skiing, or meeting you guys very soon at a ScanSoc event!
Lots of Scandi-love,
Stine

SPONSORSHIP OFFICER – BENJAMIN WARNER
Morjesta och morjens!
I'm Beni, a second-year HSPSer at King’s and the Sponsorship Officer for ScanSoc this year. My job is essentially to ensure we can afford to keep the society running while our creative ents team executes whimsical scandi fun. I'm from Finland, but am unfortunately cursed with 50% British heritage which dampens my Nordic looks. I also come from the Swedish-speaking minority in the country, so please don't hesitate to speak Swedish to me, or dare yourself to try speaking Finnish. Excited for a wonderful year!
Lots of Scandi-Love,
Beni

pr OFFICER – VERONIKA JÖNSSON
Hej! I’m Veronika, your PR Officer for this year. Although I’m originally from Skåne in Sweden, I grew up in Vienna, so now I can chat to you in a funny accent in both Swedish and German! As PR Officer, I’ll be doing lots of messing around on Canva and keeping you updated on all our upcoming events. Can’t wait to see you there!
Lots of scandi-love,
Veronika

EVENTS Officer – NADJA PRIGOROWSKY
Hej everyone!
I’m Nadja - a Swedish native trying to bring some Stockholm representation to the committee. ScanSoc is a home away from home for Scandis and Scanfans alike. Whether you’re joining us for an ABBA bop, a traditional ‘sittning’ or - my favourite - a Lucia-themed ‘glögg‘, we can’t wait to meet you and invite you to our Scandinavian family.
Lots of Scandi-love,
Nadja

Events Officer – BENJAMIN HILTON
Halløj!
I’m Benjamin, a Danish mathmo, and I’m excited to be part of the Scansoc committee for the second year in a row! Last year’s events and Nordic fun were too amazing to miss out on, so I’m back for another round. This year, I’m one of the three event officers responsible for organizing some (hopefully) incredible events for the upcoming year. I hope Scansoc will not only bring a cozy feeling of home but also offer an exciting chance to meet new, great people.
Lots of Scandi-love,
Benjamin

Events Officer – ANNE JENSDATTER
Hej!
My name is Anne, a Copenhagen native now residing at St. Edmund’s College studying HisPol, and I am one of the three Events Officers this year. This year I can’t wait to host and plan Cambridge’s most colorful, brilliant, fun and ironic events. Look forward to the fiercely competitive Eurovision song contest party, Danish/Faroese “beer bowling” and Kævle tournaments, Norwegian Christmas hygge, Finnish Snapse songs at Sittning - and lots of political events on Nordic geopolitics.
Lots of Scandi-love,
Anne
